We decided to spend our last training weekend before the World Meet at the very scenic and hospitable
Black Knights to jump the Porter. Most of us had never been to Black Knights before and we were greeted and looked after by the very friendly staff and local jumpers. Phil, the CCI, even helped us hook up our four new Aerodyne canoipes. The turn-around was quick. Despite the late start due to the weather,
we did 12 jumps on Saturday without breaking sweat, and manifest was friendly and helpful.
It was definitely a worthwhile trip for us, even for Laura and her 6 hours drive from Surrey.
Our training camp at the Ranch in New York was both evenful and highly constructive. The Richards family
really looked after us and Tracy was an awesome cook!
Once again, we had an excellent camp. Despite minor injuries and sightings of rather unfriendly
dust devils, we did nearly 70 team jumps and 3 hours of tunnel.Fusion would like to thank Fabrizio del Giudice from EX3MIX for making us look dam good!
The Bodyflight World Challenge was, as the previous yeas, absolutely awe inspinring. It was fantastic to be mingling with and competing against some of the best skydivers from all over the world. The Americans, Russians, French, Norwegians, Italians were all there, with many teams averaging 20+ point during the competition. read more...

At this point, we'd like to thank Craig for his immense energy, sense of humour and notoriously long and insightful preps and debriefs. read more...
Henry's got contact lenses and shades!
The new Fusion line-up flew together for the first time over the weekend at Airkix, setting the pace for the demanding training schedule ahead. All of us had a bit of a break since the end of the season, and i was certainly a bit stiff for a couple days. With the Christmas break coming up, where one tends to get fat from the festive feasting, we have quite a bit of work cut out for us to stay fit for our first training camp at the end of january. I think we flew well together, given that most of us weren't terribly current and tunnel fit. We did mostly randoms and random blocks to get our heads in the game. Henry did OK on his elephant 7s, but certainly could be improved, and his helmet blew up when his face collided with laura's knee. Amidst the panic, we managed to borrow a helmet from the very kind john carter. Thanks dude!! Otherwise, Protec, it would have had to be.
